After the block below, there is a brief history of the company

When I retired from my full time employment in the mid 1990's, I set out to buy hardware and software to play with and try to keep up to date with. I quickly found that if they were being bought by a properly 'Registered Company', good discounts were available. The savings would be greater than the cost of creating a company.

For that reason, Simple Software Tools Limited was born.

Happily (or sadly - hehehehe) my reputation led folks to Consult SST and folks asked SST to develop Software for them. So the Company started to do work and earn a bit of cash !!

It was a glorious feeling being able to call myself the 'Managing Director of Simple Software Tools Limited' It was even better being able to accept work which was interesting, and exciting but to refuse work that did not interest me.

I found myself almost as busy as when I was in full time employment - and I was happy - all in the world was good !!
